Brown bear is not a teddy bear
We associate the teddy bear with the real bear. Sometimes we even call him that. But is it right? How many bears live in Poland? What is the life of bears like? How long does a bear mum look after cubs? What do bears feed on? Is the winter sleep of bears hibernation? What should you do if you meet a bear on your path? These and many other questions can be answered by inviting us to a lecture entitled "A brown bear is not a teddy bear".
Our educational proposal is aimed at pupils of Bieszczady schools (Bieszczady, Lesko and Sanok districts). Interested schools are asked to contact us by e-mail. The number of lectures we can give is limited. The order of applications is decisive.
The project is financed thanks to the kindness of donors, so any support is important to us.
Not such a wolf as it is painted
The wolf is one of the most disliked animal species, especially in the communities that live in its vicinity. On the other hand, it is often idealised by its lovers living in big cities. What is the life of wolves really like? What do they feed on? Why do they attack domestic animals and how can this be prevented? What should you do if you encounter this predator on your path? These and other questions can be answered by inviting us to a lecture entitled "The wolf is not as it is painted".
