A talk on bears in Sanok
At the invitation of the branch of PTTK "Ziemia Sanocka" (Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society "Land of Sanok"), on 22 February 2024 at the castle in Sanok, the president of the Nature and Science Foundation - Dr. Wojciech Śmietana - gave a lecture entitled "Don't call him a teddy bear, that is almost everything about the Bieszczady brown bears" . The meeting was attended by several dozen people, mainly PTTK mountain guides. Of particular interest to the listeners were issues relating to bear numbers and their interaction with humans.
